I picked up this number thinking it was the delivery company calling to update me on my parcel. When no one said anything for a bit, I just hung up without a second thought. Then, my phone bill arrived and shockingly, it had a £48 charge just for answering that call. Honestly, avoid answering this number at all costs, it's a proper scam. My mobile provider refused to do anything or give me a refund, even though I never made the call myself. It’s so frustrating and unfair.

I picked up this number since I was expecting a parcel and figured it could be the courier giving an update on the delivery. Seriously, don't ever answer this number - it’s a proper scam. My phone provider wouldn’t help or refund me either, which feels totally unfair because I didn’t even make the call in the first place.

I called one of these numbers back and it was just a quick dial tone lasting a couple seconds, ended up costing me £7! Seriously, don’t pick up or try ringing back - it’s a total scam. Spoke with my phone provider this morning, loads of others have been complaining about the same thing.

I found out this number is used for tracking parcels when you get stuff from places like Amazon or Ebay.

Today I got calls from two different numbers, one was ‭+88216900309‬ at 6pm and the other ‭+88216900304‬ around 6:49pm. I didn’t pick up either, but I reckon they’re scams. The second number rang like four times before stopping, the first only rang twice. I've blocked both now just to be safe. I’d say don’t bother answering them, could be dodgy.

Sounds dodgy to me. The call came through but they just cut off right away. That number, +882-16, seems to be linked with the UAE’s Thuraya RMSS Network. Pretty sure it’s some sort of scam.

They kept ringing from different numbers non stop, I blocked them all but somehow they still find a way through. Now I'm just waiting for the next one to pop up so I can block that as well. So annoying!
