I checked with O2 and they told me this number isn’t linked to any country, it’s basically fake. They said that the £7 charged for just 5 seconds would have ended up with scammers, so somewhere along the line there’s a bank account getting that money. Luckily, O2 gave me my £7 back and were really good about it. Also, this number didn’t even appear on my phone’s call log. I’d recommend doing what I did and blocking all premium and international numbers to avoid this mess.

I got a message and email from my phone company saying my usual £10 bill had shot up to £140! They said the call came from +88216900302 and that my number had rung for 21 minutes early that day? I never made that call. Luckily, my provider took my word for it after looking into it - they couldn’t trace that number anywhere or charge that much for an international call for just 21 minutes. Best to double check your phone bills too, just in case!

Got a call from 'fang' which ended abruptly when they hung up fast, super annoying! Like always, not bothering to ring them back, seems like a total scam to me.

I just got a ring from +88216900302 on my phone, but like others have said, it rings for such a short time you barely get the chance to pick up (not that i’d bother anyway). Seems pretty clear it’s trying to get you to ring them back.
