Some bloke called me and his English was awful, he kept going on about lowering prices or something. I told him straight up I wasn’t interested in whatever he was selling and ended the call. Then he had the nerve to ring me back four times! Proper annoying and definitely felt like a scam.

Joining the TPS doesn’t seem to stop these calls one bit. I’ve reported them but it honestly feels pointless. Watch out folks, it’s definitely a scam, they jump from talking about PCs to offering bitcoins. Their accent was so hard to catch, barely understood a thing. They hung up on me like four times, then as soon as I ended the call, they phoned right back.

On 8th August 2017 at about half past four in the afternoon, I got a call from a number showing Hong Kong. I didn’t get any caller ID, and my BT call guardian picked it up but dropped it after the first ring. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I received a call late one evening, just around 10 o'clock on the 23rd of May, 2017, from a chap with an Indian accent. He claimed that my computer was in a dire situation and was supposedly calling on behalf of a company called Netsoft Technology Ltd, which, quite frankly, doesn’t exist! He pretended to represent Microsoft. Foolishly, I granted him remote access to my machine, but the very next day, a mate of mine alerted me that it was all a scam. I’d advise everyone to steer clear of the number I mentioned above. As a precaution, I had to get in touch with my bank and change my email password. Beware, folks - it’s all a con!
