Got calls from someone pretending to be Vodafone, definitely a scam. I told Vodafone's phishing department about it, but I’m not holding my breath that they’ll do much. For now, I’ve just blocked the number.

think it might be Vodafone trying to reach me about my phone upgrade coming up, but I didn’t pick up. The number showed as “00 8080996796” which looked a bit off, don’t think that’s a normal Vodafone number. why does it start with “00” and then a space? Just a heads up to be careful!

first time someone rang and said they were from vodafone - i just brushed them off coz i was busy at work. then i got another call that was just silence, looked like a dead line. blocked the number straight away.

definitely a scam. they say theyre from vodafone tryin to give you an upgrade and ask for your info plus 2 letters from your pin. then they ring you again later and ask for the rest of your pin letters. after that they go ahead and order phones on your account delivering them to places like london e11 and burnley.

someone said they were from vodafone and asked for personal details, trying to sell me these amazing deals that seemed too good to be true. it might have been legit but i told them i never share info on calls and ended it there. then about 11 minutes later, got another call from 0800 0641081, which turned out to be a marketing firm. best to just block both numbers.

09/09/2015 called saying it was Vodafone with some great offers for me, but what’s real? I looked at my bill online today and realised nothing changed. Then the bloke just hung up on me (lol). Definitely blocking this number! Je asked.

Watch out! Got a call from someone saying they were Vodafone offering upgrades. I foolishly said yes, thinking I'd get a free gift. No upgrade ever happened, but they sent the so-called free gift anyway, then said it'd be £7.50 a month, which I never agreed to. Total scam!
