I got a robocall today from someone pretending to be with BT. The recorded message told me to hit 1 straight away or else I'd be getting arrested for fraud. I found it pretty scary, especially for anyone who might panic and actually press 1 - they’d probably just get charged on a rip-off premium phone line. Feels like these calls can really freak out people who aren’t paying close attention.

Got a weird call from some American-sounding robot claiming to be BT. It said there was fraud on my account and told me to press one right away or I’d get arrested. Seemed so dodgy and scary!

Got a call from someone speaking with an American accent, said they were from the tech department. They claimed there was some kind of fraud going on with my account. As soon as I caught on, I hung up straightaway!

Got a robo call supposedly from BT warning about fraud and telling me to press 1. They even said I’d be arrested if I didn’t. Total scam.

The caller ID showed it was from another country, which is weird since I don't get calls from overseas. I picked up briefly but just ended up hanging up straight away. After reading what others said here, I'm glad I didn't get involved.

I got a message saying I had to press 1 or else I'd get arrested! Proper strange. I just blocked the number and reported it straight away.
