I told them I wasn’t interested, and they kept pushing, like they knew better than me. Then they kept asking me to say my name over and over like they didn’t catch it the first time. Felt like a complete scam, just some scammer with a phone. Honestly, be cheeky back - feed them rubbish details and keep it going just to get under their skin like they did to me!

Got a call from some people in Manila saying they were with Yell, offering a free business listing. When I asked how they got my number, they just said it was from a London expo, but didn’t give any details. If they’re really with Yell, it’s funny how they’re not bothering with TPS rules!

The 00 80 code clearly indicates that it’s meant to be an international call. I've gone through all the possible codes, and there's absolutely no record of one for 00 80. The closest options are Japan at 00 81 and South Korea at 00 82, yet the 00 80 code is simply non-existent. It’s pretty clear that this is a dubious number often employed by scammers to mask their identity. If you receive a call from that number, you can bet your bottom dollar that it’s someone up to no good!

someone rang saying they were from yell, but when I asked yell themselves they said they had no record of that. sounds like it's probably just a marketing firm trying to update info from my yell ad.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Yellow Pages. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, like they were just trying to sell something. I wasn’t sure if it was legit or just a scam, so I didn’t give out any info. Bit annoying really!
