This wangiri scam is definitely run by some proper organised crime groups. The cops are asking for info on every call to try and get the full picture of what's going on. But when it comes to wangiri scams, that’s literally the most important rule!!

Such a pain blocking these calls - they just ring again from loads of fake numbers. As someone said below, the best bet is to report every single call to the police. Honestly, it seems like the only thing that might actually put an end to this rubbish over time.

Got a missed call really early this morning. At first I figured it was a mobile but didn’t bother calling back. The info on this scam given above the 'hotspot' map was really helpful. I tried reporting it to 'Action Fraud' but clicked the wrong section at first. The right place to report is the 'reporting' button on the icon bar, not the 'victim' one. Once I found it, it was straightforward and super easy to file a report. The tips shared here about this scam are spot on.
