Got a call today from a bloke who sounded like he was from India or Pakistan. He’s rang me a few times before and was really pushy wanting me to say who I was, but he refused to say who he was. I told him I don’t do cold calls but he kept on trying to chat. Eventually, I told him if he couldn’t say why he was calling in just one sentence, I’d hang up. He said he was doing some online survey for something called the ‘super savers club’. After that, I told him I wasn’t interested and to stop calling me. Then I ended the call.

Got calls from this number thrice today. They said they were from some savers club and kept asking for loads of personal info like my gas, electric, broadband details, even my DOB and what papers I read! They tried to pitch free magazines and claimed they could sort better deals or make British Gas call me. Seemed fishy to me.

Got a call from this number claiming to be The Savers Club. I told them straight up about the data protection rules and warned I’d report them to the Data Commissioner if they kept ringing. They were still blabbering when I just cut the call off.

These nuisance calls are really getting on my nerves, honestly. It’s reached the point where I’m thinking about ditching my landline altogether, but I can’t because it’s needed for the internet. Surely, someone in this country can put a stop to this, especially BT - they’re meant to be the biggest telecoms provider here, but they don't seem to be doing much to help. All these 00 numbers are suspicious; no idea where they’re getting my info from. I never take part in surveys or share my details, and yet the caller today knew almost everything about me, apart from my bank info, which I’d never give over the phone. Hope no one else does either.

Got a call from this number at 7.16 pm tonight. My husband just hung up straight away. We’re registered with TPS but it doesn’t stop them ringing over and over.

This number rings me up at least three times a week, sometimes even more, and every time it just ends with a click when I pick up. Wish there was a way to block them like I do on my laptop. I’ve started answering in Dutch just for a bit of fun, since I’m Dutch myself. Honestly, Dutch doesn’t sound too nice 😂. It’s pretty funny to catch the confusion from the other side!

I swear, some folks just don't give up! I've started letting the voicemail pick up because they'll usually drop the call before I even get to say anything. If it turns out to be someone I actually wanna chat with, I'll answer as soon as I catch who it is.

I just got off the phone with a really annoying caller. When I said I was with TPS and asked for his info, he just hung up on me. My BT6500 only lets me block about ten numbers, but with all these calls I’ve gotten, I’ve run out of space. So, next week I’m getting a BT8500 that I believe can block up to 100 numbers. Honestly, I’m looking forward to that!

My missus answered the phone earlier and some lady claimed it was a follow-up to a survey we supposedly did last year. She asked loads of questions about our debts, credit cards, what kind of house we live in, even the age of our washing machine and how we pay for gas and electric. She also wanted to know if we had a Sky box or similar. My wife just said no to nearly everything - I doubt I'd have been that courteous! We’re on the TPS, so I’m pretty surprised they managed to get through at all.

Got a call from this number earlier, some bloke called Victor from Savers Club. Really persistent guy, kept asking questions but I didn’t want to answer till he explained how he got my number. He claimed my husband filled out a survey, which is rubbish 'cause he never does them! I told him I’m on the TPS list and this kind of call isn’t allowed. Ended up just hanging up on him.
