Got a random call tonight, picked up and heard a bloke speaking with a really strong south Asian accent. Without thinking much, I just told him off pretty harshly, something about a broken bottle and all. Seemed to shock him enough to hang up straight away. Honestly, I'd say you should handle it the same way.

Got a ring from this number earlier, some guy with an Indian accent saying he’s from 'easy claim'. Weird coz I barely use my landline, only a handful of people have the number. I’m baffled how they got hold of my number since I barely ever use my home phone and only a handful of people have it. My provider’s Orange, so I’m wondering if they’re selling our info or something. I told the bloke I’m on the TPS list and he still tried asking about some accident I supposedly had. Proper annoying. I’m about to report them to TPS because since I’m registered, they’re not allowed to keep calling me or they could get fined.

This number has rung me two times today. My landline’s pretty new and I’m ex-directory, since I hardly use it I’ve only shared it with a couple of mates. I’m really puzzled how they managed to get it! Thankfully, I didn’t pick up either time, but it’s a bit irritating they’ve got hold of my number!

I answered, but there was nobody there right away, then after a few seconds some robot voice said "goodbye" and then it cut off straight away. Kinda worried that just picking up let them know my number is real and in use.

Got a call from 007865443344 and just blocked it straight away. Heard on the news they’re planning to crack down harder on these nuisance calls here in the UK. It’s about time they start cracking down on those Indian call centres, especially the ones that have branches here in the UK.

Got a ring from this number earlier, some bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from a claims firm. He wanted to know if I'd put in a claim over the last couple of years. I told him no, but he kept asking, so I stuck with no. Then he just said sorry and I ended the call. Heard loads of noise in the background, so must be a call centre or something, also the line was pretty dodgy.

Glad I was around to answer when this bloke with a thick Indian accent rang up. I could hardly understand a word he was saying, but he was asking about some accident claim. I told him straight away I haven’t been in any accident and was about to hang up. Then he tried to get details about someone else involved or something. I made it clear I didn’t want any more calls, but he kept pushing for a third person’s name. I kept saying “I’m hanging up” but he just kept asking again. Honestly, sounds like one of them dodgy accident claim call centres to me. What nerve!

Over the last couple of days, this number has rung me three times - once yesterday and twice just today. They never left a voicemail or anything. I haven't bothered to return the call either.
