Got a call on 16/07/2018 from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach. The bloke had a really thick accent and his English was pretty rough, sounded maybe African. I asked for his name and he said Steven William or something like that - sounded dodgy to me! The line was awful, loads of background noise. When I asked where he was ringing from, he said London. I mentioned how strange it was that BT’s line sounded so bad, and then he just hung up on me. Honestly, not shocked at all.

I got a call where no one said a thing. I switched it to speaker and just left it there. They stayed quiet on the line for about 3 minutes before hanging up. Could be a friend of that guy Douglas from Pakistan who called me last week about some accident that never happened. Or maybe one of his mates, Sally, who threatened to disconnect my internet unless I let her take over my laptop.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach. Their English was pretty poor and the line kept cutting out. I asked why the connection was so bad if they were really with BT, and suddenly they got quite rude. They said it was about my internet, but I didn’t bother to hear any more after that.
