9 yearsSome bloke called saying my computer was having problems and asked to get in. I told him straight away he was trying to scam me but he kept going. I just ended the call and flagged the number as a scam to my phone company.9 yearsWas exactly what everyone else mentioned.9 yearsGot a phone call from some bloke named Henry who said he was from "my Internet company". When I asked for more info, he claimed to have my IP address to verify things. I wanted to know the problem, and he said there were error alerts coming from my router. Then he started asking about how many green lights were blinking on my wifi box. Pretty clear scam to me, so I just told him I wasn’t buying it, said cheers and ended the call.Henry9 yearsGot a call from someone with a foreign accent saying they were from BT Openreach. They told me there'd been some dodgy activity on my internet and I had to reset my router for a new IP. Then they asked if I was using a laptop or computer for internet.
