Got a couple of calls on my phone from this number I didn’t recognise. Didn’t pick up at first, but then gave it a go thinking it might be something important. After ringing twice, the call just dropped. Turns out the calls were coming from the Solomon Islands.

Blimey, it's easy to see why folks get caught out by these scam calls. Had a couple ringing me in the dead of night recently, hoping I'd freak out and ring back. I’d be really careful with this number, it’s a total scam. They pretend to be loads of different companies but it’s all the same lot. Within half an hour, three people in my family got calls, each one saying they were from different firms - Virgin Media, Sky, and EE. They want your bank details, saying there’s a problem with a 'payment issue' on your direct debit. The worst part, all the calls came from the same phone number! Don’t trust them.
