I got billed roughly £3.33 after ringing this number two times, each call maybe 3 seconds long. Since then, ive been bombarded with nearly ten calls from numbers that look similar over the last 12 hours. Obviously, they make money if you call them back, so my advice is just don't. Always check out any unfamiliar number before you decide to phone back.

Looked it up and found it’s a well-known scam number that could cost you heaps if you return the call. I never ever call back unless I’m certain who I’m dealing with!!

definitely a wangiri scam, really bad! check out the post on this site right above the hotspot map. it’s important to keep the police updated about how widespread this kind of fraud is. use the 'action fraud' link on this page to go to the ‘reporting’ area. then report it as a suspected wangiri scam under ‘phishing attempt’. you don’t need to sign up or anything. it’s just as quick as leaving a comment here. the police can only act if they’ve got all the info about these scams. so please, do your bit and report every scam call you get.
