Phone rang twice then just cut off. You’re left thinking you might’ve missed a call and need to ring back. Plus, by doing that you’re basically telling them your number’s active and they can keep ringing you whenever they fancy. Watch out. This is definitely a dodgy scam!

hey, got a call from this number but when i picked up they hung up straight away. weird thing is, my phone didn’t even log it as a missed call, so i guess the call got through for a moment (fingers crossed it cost them something, those scammers deserve it). now they probably know my line is active, so i’m expecting to block loads more calls soon. the key advice here is to never call back any unknown number, trust me on that.
