Got a call claiming they offer cheaper calls from overseas to the Philippines. Told them I’m all good since I’ve got wifi, so I just use Skype or Messenger to talk to my family. Felt like a scam, especially when the person said they were from Globe Telecom. I told them no thanks, I don’t need that.

This Canadian number called me but when I answered there was nothing, and I didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either.

I got a call from 00639664453260 which is apparently from the Philippines. The lady on the other end tried to persuade me to pay something like £16 so I could get a direct number for overseas calls. I told her I wasn’t interested and said no thank you. Just curious if anyone knows if this is a legit number? Cheers.
