Got a call from the Philippines? Thankfully, I use BT Call Protect to block all overseas calls, otherwise I'd have given them a right telling-off. I'm starting to think it's easier just to keep my phone off the hook and only check voicemail now and then. These dodgy callers never leave any messages anyway. Honestly, those call centres in India and now the Philippines should have their phones and internet cut off completely. It would make life a whole lot less stressful for everyone.

The TPS is useless honestly, I just block the first three digits of the number instead of blocking the entire thing, and it actually helps.

Got a call from an Asian lady asking if I had a prepaid funeral plan. Honestly, if I managed to get her on the phone again, she’d be the one needing one quickly!

I always think twice before picking up unknown numbers. If it’s important or real, they’ll leave a voicemail, which hardly ever happens. So now I just ignore them altogether.

Got a call from an Asian woman around 4.53pm who said she wanted to ask some questions. I told her I don't entertain questions from strangers calling out the blue, and she just hung up on me. The number shows up as being from the Philippines.

This number called me and my phone showed it was from the Philippines haha! I usually just ignore strange numbers like that.

If the calls are from the Philippines, it makes sense they're ringing in the middle of the night here. Honestly, whoever is behind this scam hasn't got a clue about the time zones, which makes their calls not just annoying but also against the law. Sadly, there’s pretty much no way to get them to stop or shut down their operation. Here's a little advice: if your phone lets you filter who calls you, be wary of numbers starting with "00" or "+", as they’re usually from abroad. Best to just not pick up on those.

We received a phone call claiming to be from a marketing company based in the Philippines. Upon expressing our lack of interest, they threatened to call us every hour for the remainder of our lives.

Just rang for half a minute. It says it's from the Philippines but could easily be someone in the UK using a Filipino SIM. If you pick up, you might end up with a big phone bill. You never really know with these calls.

They asked for me specifically and said they wanted to “do a survey,” I just told them I’m sick of these calls and hung up. Proper annoying that is.

I received a call at 7:40pm today. However, when I answered the phone, there was no response from the other end and the call disconnected after a few seconds. It was quite bothersome, as it seemed to be an invalid or nuisance call.

Looks like it’s a number from the Philippines. I’d probably steer clear of it.

If possible, block this number. I've had about 17 calls from it in just one hour. My phone has a built-in blacklist feature that stops it from ringing but still lets me know they tried to call. Also, AVG antivirus offers a free blocklist that you can download from the Play Store which helps a lot.

Got a call from someone claiming to be SAVETHEDAY yesterday, so I just said, “Here’s my way to save the day” and hung up straight away!

Got a call from +639169562703 and it showed up as Philippines. Didn’t pick up, didn’t wanna risk any charges.

I received a phone call today at 18.15 from an individual who identified themselves as an Asian lady but had an English name. She asked me to verify my house number, postcode, and other personal information. Towards the end of the call, she mentioned that there would be a recording for me to listen to and if I wanted to opt out of something, I should contact www.savetheday. When I inquired about what exactly I was opting out of, she abruptly ended the call without playing any recording. I later tried to access the website www.savetheday, but it seemed to be unreachable. These calls should be considered illegal as they are intrusive. I have attempted to block their numbers, but they persistently call from different ones. Some members of my family have abandoned having house phones due to these never-ending calls, and I am considering doing the same.

Got a call from these at 3:20am and then again at 5:32pm, everytime I pick up no ones there. Definetly a scam.

This number's called me four times in the last four days and just drops the call as soon as I pick up.

That number rang me up at an ungodly hour of 4 o'clock in the morning. It was infuriating and disturbed my slumber.

I received a phone call from this number at 1:30 am, expecting it to be a family member in need as I assumed only they would call at such an early hour! However, I was rather irritated when I discovered the call was actually silent with no one speaking on the other end.

I've been getting repeated calls from this particular number, especially yesterday and today. To make matters worse, one call came through at 3am, followed by another at 6am. Is there any way to prevent this number from contacting me again?

I’m absolutely sick of this company, getting like 2 or 3 calls every single day. But whenever I pick up, they just hang up straight away. The last time they rang was at about 3.55 this morning!

Had the same thing happen as others mentioned, got two calls in the middle of the night, picked up the phone and they just dropped the call. Added this number to my blocked list now.

Got a call at 2.30 in the morning and then another one at 5.00 am on 11/11/2018, but when I picked up, no one said anything.

I received three consecutive calls last night. The first one was at 11:45 PM, followed by another one at 3:45 AM, and a third one at 4:45 AM. Unfortunately, every time I was awakened by the ringing phone, there was nobody speaking on the other side of the line.

This number called me at 4.45 am on my home phone, which we only use for family emergencies. It rang a couple times earlier that day too, but when I answered and said hello, they just hung up. Proper annoying, to say the least. I reckon you should get in touch with your phone company and report the number as a scam or harassment.

It is imperative that we report such behaviour or I will personally lodge a complaint with the authorities, indicating this as an act of harassment. Their actions are deeply infuriating! 😠

To top it off, they had the audacity to make the last call at 00:30, when both my husband and I need to be up by 05:00 for work. Needless to say, we were extremely angry about this situation.
