As a pensioner, I know I don’t have to apply, and also the amount mentioned is higher than what I’m usually entitled to, which is £200. Seems fishy, not like the Department for Work and Pensions at all. Plus, it said I had to claim by today, but according to the official government site I looked up, you can actually claim till March 2026.
