This number’s called me several times, there’s a brief silence, then it starts ringing the person they’re trying to reach. I always hang up as soon as I hear it ring. Twice I didn’t hang up fast enough and got connected. I labelled it dangerous because if it connects, you might get charged for at least the first minute. Since it’s showing as an international call from the Philippines, the cost could be sky high, around £1.35 per minute. It’s just a sneaky cold call scam that ends up costing you money.

Just got back and saw this number has rung me 4 times but never left a voicemail. From what I've seen on here, it sounds like those 'save the day' lot - they ask all sorts of personal questions just to pass your info around for marketing. They seem to use loads of different phone numbers. Telling them to stop calling is pointless, as soon as they realise the number is genuine, they keep pestering you nonstop.

I've resorted to just putting the phone down and letting them chat away to themselves. I've requested them to cease this incessant harassment, even threatening to report their antics. When will they finally get the message? It's incredibly frustrating, especially when you're preoccupied or anticipating a call from someone who actually matters. They're an absolute nuisance!

Got a call from this number earlier, some lady with a strong accent saying she was from "Save the Day" or maybe "Save Today," trying to get me to do a "lifestyle survey" - clearly just a way to collect info to flog onto scammers. They keep ringing me from every number under the sun. I've asked nicely for them to stop but no luck, so I bought a referee's whistle to deal with them. Used it a couple times now, might just annoy them enough to give up before I do! 😂

I’ve discovered that this call is coming from a call centre located in the Philippines. It seems that UK businesses are resorting to this method to sidestep the cold calling regulations we have in place here. Quite startling, really!

Got a call sayin I’d made it to the next round of some competition I never signed up for. When I asked where they got my info from, the bloke on the phone dodged the question. Then he pressed some button and went quiet. Luckily, everything went back to normal after that.
