Got a call today from 01360972618, some lady with an Indian accent but went by Sue and said she was from Call Blocker. I’m registered with the TPS so I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who said his name was Adam Wright. He somehow knew my name and address, told me the government was sending me a cheque for some old fees I’d paid. I was pretty sure it was a scam straight away. I played along, said I’d had a mortgage before and still kept a credit card, but I wasn’t about to hand over any real details like my bank info. He called it a ‘verification interview’. Apparently, the guy with the cheque will be ringing me tomorrow. Guess we’ll find out what happens then!

Got a call from someone saying they were from some government financial advisory board, talking about refunding bank fees. Sounds like a classic PPI scam to me. Creepy part was, they already knew my name and where I live!

I got a call from 006200123412345 claiming they were carrying out a government survey, or so that’s what I gathered through their quite poor English. When I refused to give my name and address, the person got really annoyed. It took him a couple of minutes to finally hang up, and I have to admit, I was quite entertained the whole time!

This same "company" phoned me twice - once yesterday and once today - but I wasn’t home either time, and they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. It’s obvious they keep calling until someone picks up! Well, they’re not going to catch me. I recently bought a call blocker, and honestly, it’s probably the best gadget I’ve bought in ages. It should stop that last number from ringing through, so fingers crossed I won’t have to deal with them any more!

Got a call from a guy with a strong Asian accent looking for someone called Mrs Ancoma, which isn’t me by the way. When I asked who he was, he just started shouting and then slammed the phone down. Some bloke with a thick Asian accent, calling himself 'Mark', tried telling me I was owed a refund. I couldn’t make out what he was saying, and in the background, it sounded like someone was blowing bubbles or something weird like that. Then he just hung up, probably because my voice was too quiet for him. Definitely one of those dodgy calls, but it was a bit of a laugh to see how much nonsense he’d spout.

Straight away, I felt something wasn’t right when she started asking for my birthday and bank details. I ended the call quick, but then she rang again later the same day. I told her she’d called the wrong number and she just cut off. Definitely one of those scam calls yet again!

I got a call from this number and the person said he was David Barker from the Ministry of Justice, which I’m pretty sure is a load of rubbish. He told me they were going to send a cheque for bank charges that had been hidden for 20 years. He mentioned someone would ring me back later today and then again in a couple of days. Bit fishy if you ask me.

the lady claimed there was some government decision and wanted to give back 20 years of bank fees. she even knew where i lived but got pretty hostile when i asked what the call was about and why she wasnt sorting the refund with my bank directly. then she just ended the call.

somebody rang me claiming to be karin and said she needed my full name and dob to send a refund cheque for some supposed bank fees. when i asked her if this was legit, she got all defensive and kept asking if i thought she was lying. i could hear loads of noise behind her like a busy office and it just felt like one of those scams. why else would someone ring back asking for all your bank details? beware and don’t share your info with them!

I'm not sure what's going on here. The site claims the call came from Indonesia, but the person said they were from the 'ministry of justice'. Then they just ended the call abruptly! Very confusing.
