I got a call telling me there’s some hacking going on with my IP address and that they’ll be cutting off my internet and phone within 24 hours. They left a message about it. Pretty sure it’s a scam but kinda worried anyway.

Well, this number really caused some trouble here. The person who picked up the phone is someone in the family who deals with anxiety, especially because of the health problems that come with getting older. It was really upsetting for them to get this call.

Got calls three times from 0061354417532, sounded like a real bloke with an American accent. He was going on about government hackers and said our landline would get disconnected in a day. When he asked why I’d hung up twice, I told him straight up it was a scam and to stop calling. So far, no more calls thankfully. Hope it stays that way!

So I got a call from what sounded like a woman but her voice was all robotic. She claimed our IP had been used in some sort of government hacking incident and warned that our phone and internet would be disconnected within a day. She mentioned a UK landline number but said it so fast I couldn’t jot it down, plus she never repeated it. Then suddenly, the voice switched to a man, still electronic, telling me to wait because they'd be asking questions soon. That’s when I decided to just hang up.
