Got a call from someone claiming to be Jessica Thompson, trying to chat about unlocking money from some so-called US Masterfunds linked to the Treasury Department. I’m in finance and know for sure none of these funds are legit. The number was totally bogus. Pretty clear this was some dodgy phishing attempt. Best to block the number and let the police know about the fraud risk.
