7 yearsTotal scam, just trying to trick ya!7 yearsThe moment you see that number, you can tell it’s dodgy - supposedly from BT but it’s not. Real BT calls always display as BT on your caller ID. Never hand over any real info to these tricksters. If you’re feeling cheeky, you could mess about with them - act like an old, clueless pensioner and keep them waiting forever. Or as soon as you pick up, tell them to hold on and say you’re starting to record the call because you’re a cop with the Met Police. They usually hang up sharpish after that!BTMet7 yearsGot a call from an unknown number with an Australian code, so I chose not to pick up. No clue who's behind it, but I'm guessing it's nothing good.Australia8 yearsSomeone rang saying they needed to switch my internet to a new server but their English was just rubbish. Was really hard to understand, had to ask them to explain again!8 yearsThey said they were from BT but then asked for my husband’s PIN for “security reasons” - seemed a bit dodgy to me!BT10 yearsThis morning I got a call from a woman claiming there was an issue with my computer. Just a heads up to everyone, don’t talk to them or give them any access to your device or passwords. I’m pretty sure it’s one of those worldwide scams trying to trick people.Submit Your Own Report (234567)
