Had a call earlier today, the person said their name but I couldn’t quite catch it. I asked where they were calling from, and although they knew my name and address, they then asked for my date of birth. When I asked again who they were calling on behalf of, they refused to say, so I just ended the call. Later on at 8pm the same number rang me again, but I just hung up straight away.

Somebody rang up asking me to join a survey. I told them I wasn’t interested, but they kept saying they'd like me to answer a few questions. I explained politely that it was basically the same thing and asked to be taken off their list. Then they said they’d do it, only if I answered their questions first!

I got a call from this lady called Janet, sounded like she was Asian, and she actually said my name even though it’s not listed in the phone book. She wanted me to take part in some market research survey. I asked her where she found my number, and she claimed it was from publicly available info. I told her that couldn’t be right because we’re on the telephone preference service, and then she just dropped the call.

This woman called me, said she was from some consumer research or whatever, had a bit of an Asian accent. I told her to stop calling me, and then she started saying I was rude and abrupt. I said no, she was the one pestering me and wouldn’t accept my no, so I just ended the call!

I got a call from a bloke who refused to say who he was or where he was ringing from. When I asked him, he just told me to calm down and then went on about how I was being rude and that I’d never be happy. Quite unpleasant really.

Received a call from someone with a Pakistani or Indian accent inquiring about a "Melanie Carter." From what I gather from my previous encounters, this seems to be a typical scam operation-likely a debt collection agency trying to track down this individual regarding some outstanding payments. I've learned that they operate out of Worcester. Just a heads-up to anyone who may come across the same scenario!
