I got a call where the bloke asked, "Am I talking to the owner here?" I just asked, "Who's this?" and then hung up straight away. Funny thing is that when I checked the number with 1471, it actually showed up!

The voice had a Jamaican accent and started with, "Hey man, you the owner of this number, yeah?" I asked for his name, but I only got a vague reply before he claimed he was with Microsoft. I wasn’t convinced, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone with a noticeable foreign accent asking if I owned the house, then they just ended the call. Honestly, I'd tell anyone to just hang up straight away.

A guy named Paul rang me up asking for the person who owns this number, said he needed to chat about my Microsoft computer. I told him I don’t even own a Microsoft PC and mentioned that I’m on the TPS list, asked how he even got my contact. Then he just ended the call. Honestly, these sorts of calls need to be cracked down on!

On 22nd March 2016, I got a call from 005708743528, some bloke with an Indian accent saying there was an issue with my computer. I told him I don’t even own a PC, heard some background noise too. He called himself Michael. After a few calls, I was fed up and pretended to be a nun just to put him off. Watch out for these scammers, they'll go to any lengths to get your personal info and bank details. Don’t fall for their tricks!

Today I had a run in with someone calling himself "Peter" who was trying to pull a scam. I humoured him for a while and when he asked what was on my screen, I told him it was a message saying something like "you must be a complete idiot". He snapped back that he absolutely thought I was daft, then just hung up on me. Honestly, it was pretty funny. Next time, I reckon I'll keep him chatting a bit more and waste more of his time and phone credit.

Got a call saying there was a problem with my Windows PC. I asked him which one I had, then who he was. He said his name was Peter. Tried chatting with him a bit, even asked if the weather was nice - it’s my go-to way to waste their time. Then I asked if he could sort out my Apple Mac instead. Next thing, he shouted and slammed the phone down.

Totally a con. I was feeling a bit cheeky and had ages to spare, so I messed about pretending I needed his support. Things went downhill when I asked if he was involved in dodgy dealings and if I should ring the cops. That’s when he lost it, swearing in some mad Indian lingo before hanging up sharpish. The bloke called himself Peter, but I never got around to saying my computer's actually an iMac. If he rings again, I might just suggest he tries his hand at cordless bungee jumping for a laugh.
