That call was proper dodgy. Some bloke said he was from the Windows tech team in Dublin - funny enough, the number had an Argentinian country code! He warned me about a virus and said hackers were messing about with my computer. Then he wanted to show me what the problem was and asked me to set up “teamviewer.” I just told him to get lost straight away.

someone rang me claiming to be from windows support in dublin (oddly, the number had an argentina country code), saying my computer had a virus and hackers were targeting it. they said they wanted to explain what was "wrong" with my pc. i just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a number in Argentina but no one said a word, just dead silence. Anyone else had this happen? Really weird.

When I picked up, there was just silence at first. Then I caught the tail end of a message but couldn’t make out a word of it.
