Got a call claiming to be from Microsoft, sounded asian and kept going on about problems with my PC. Just the usual nonsense. Ive blocked that number now.

Got a call from this number, some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft about an issue with my PC. I called him out straight away, told him he was dodging and asked what exactly he was doing. He said he fixes computers, so I said I’ve been doing that sort of thing for years too. Next thing, he just cut me off. I was just warming up for a proper chat, but he kept insisting he wasn’t trying to scam me. Quite the odd call!

This number rang me a few times the past few days - didn’t pick up each time, lucky me! Saw what other folks said about it, and glad I didn’t bother. My rule is simple: if you don’t know the number, wait for the voicemail. If there’s no message left, just block and forget!

On the afternoon of 08/07/2017, a call came through at 17:12 on Saturday. I wasn’t home at the time, but honestly, I wouldn’t have picked up anyway since it seemed really suspicious. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
