Got a robo call with some American voice telling me about BT disconnection, just like two other calls I got this week but from a different number with a Jamaican accent. I didn’t pick up or say anything, but I did leave a comment on BT's feedback page saying they really need to deal with these scam calls better before someone falls for it. I’ve just had a similar experience with a phone call. It’s becoming so frequent now! They always threaten to cut me off unless I hit the number 1. No matter how many times I block the number, it seems to come back with a different one each time. It’s utterly frustrating!

As per usual, there was no Scammer on the other end to engage with me, although I’ve previously been prompted to hit 1.

In a way, it spares me from unleashing a good moan about how the line just went “click”.

This number is definitely a scam linked to BT. They call up claiming to be from BT, accusing you of some issue with your connection. Ultimately, they try to extort money from you to supposedly rectify your line. Just a heads up-BT won’t ever reach out regarding your account like that. Stay vigilant!

Clearly, these individuals seem to lack much of a fulfilling existence. One can only imagine how dreary their lives must be. I highly advise against pressing that digit ‘1’, as you'll find yourself tethered to a costly phone bill for an entire week! Best to steer clear!
