I received a call from a customer service representative who seemed to be from an Asian background, and I wasn’t in the mood for a chat. I really just wanted them to leave me alone! 😡

I just got an unexpected phone call saying that there are individuals attempting to access my computer, and that it was crucial I act promptly. They wanted me to be sitting at my computer so they could guide me through some steps. I didn’t trust it and decided to hang up immediately!

Those dodgy scammers are at it again! They’ll attempt to gain remote access to your computer, claiming they need to address non-existent security issues or viruses. Don’t buy into their nonsense, as all they want is to sell you an overpriced "solution." Trust me, they’ll likely introduce far more harmful things onto your device in the process. If you get a call like this, just hang up - it’s not worth it!

Yet another dodgy number linked to a computer con, with the caller masquerading as a Microsoft rep. Their goal? To gain remote access to your computer and later hold your information hostage for ransom. Just hang up and move on!

I got a call from someone named Jacob who claimed he was representing a company authorised by Microsoft. He mentioned he was based in Marylebone, so I asked for the postcode. After he gave it, I looked it up and found it was linked to a virtual office service in London, which he admitted was his location. Oddly, Jacob couldn’t name any of the staff members listed on their website - you'd expect him to know at least a couple of people there! Even when I told him I was doubtful about his story, he kept pushing. In the end, the call ended abruptly when he hung up on me.

Beware of con artists posing as Microsoft representatives; steer clear of their directions! Just a heads up - I use a Mac, which isn’t linked to the Microsoft Windows system at all. What's more, my phone number is kept confidential, shared only with my family and my broadband provider!

Claimed to be calling from Microsoft... a right laugh when I’m sat here with my work Mac! Honestly, I had a right old time trying to locate the Windows key on my keyboard, which, spoiler alert, doesn't exist! In the end, they hung up on me. We did have a right natter about the weather in London since that’s where she said she was calling from, but it turned into a bizarre recap of the forecast lifted straight from a website! What utter charlatans! STEER CLEAR, I say!

Someone rang me sayin they were from Microsoft, which is complete nonsense. I never gave Microsoft my phone number when I got my windows PC, and at that time, I lived with my folks. On top of that, I was on my work Mac when they called. Honestly, if you want, just let them waste their time yakking or put them on hold till they get fed up and hang up. Whatever you do, don’t listen to any of their "helpful" instructions! They're absolute dodgy characters, trying to take advantage of people, and I reckon some elderly chap must have had this number before me!

Got a call from this number earlier today and when I picked up, it was clear it was one of those automated diallers. Then some guy called Mike, claiming to be from computer support, started talking. His accent sounded like it was from somewhere in the sub-continent. I’m not into dealing with these kinds of calls so I just ended it straight away.
