11 yearsToday, my landline rang and I picked up, the caller sounded like they were from India I think. They spoke so rapidly I couldn’t make out a word, even when I asked them to slow down, they just kept shouting faster. Eventually I caught the name Romesh and something about an accident in the last couple of years. When I calmly asked, in just six words, where they got my number from, they totally ignored me and pressured me to say if I’d had an accident recently. That annoyed me so much because who do they think they are telling me to answer? I repeated my question about where they found my number, but then they just hung up abruptly. Seems like a scam to me. Don’t give them any info, even if you have been in an accident - they aren’t here to help.
