4 yearsGot a call saying it was from my (Named) bank about two dodgy transactions on my account. They warned me that if I didn’t press 2, my account would be frozen. I went ahead and pressed 2. Then, a woman with an Indian accent came on and listed the two payments - one was small, the other was about £2,500. I asked her to confirm the sort code for my bank to check if the call was legit. She said she couldn’t share that info. I explained that it’s just the branch code, not personal info. She hung up straight away.
