This lady has been ringing me daily for about five days straight. She only left one voicemail, just saying hello, and she sounded like she might be German or something.

She was quite polite and said she was from the European Commission in Berlin, asking if I wanted to answer some questions about consumer issues and the post-covid situation. I was tied up, so she said she’d try later, but I’ve not had another call since.

Got a call today from some automated voice claiming they were from HMRC saying there's a warrant for my arrest and to press one to speak to them. I've never been arrested and I'm home almost all the time. Definitely a scam!

Got a call earlier from a marketing firm. The bloke on the line had a German accent and sounded like he was shouting over the noise of a busy train station or something. I wasn’t up for chatting so I just hung up. Blocked the number straight away after that.

A guy, maybe with an Asian accent, kept asking to speak to the manager and then wanted to know if I was them. I told him no, but he didn’t want to leave a message, just kept asking when the manager would be around. I didn’t give him any info. Could hear loads of background noise, sounded like a call centre.
