Got a call saying there was dodgy activity linked to my National Insurance Number and that all my personal and business stuff would be frozen unless I acted straight away. They then asked me to press 1 to talk to an "Officer". Obviously, I just hung up! Still, the prerecorded message sounded pretty legit and could easily scare someone who's upset or distracted.

Just like others said, they kept asking me about trading and crypto. When I asked who they were with, they just said a bunch of different companies. I kept pressing and said maybe put me through to someone else, but they just hung up instead.

Picked up the phone and the person started chatting about trading with some firm called Sea Administration Limited. After a short while, they passed me on to someone else. When I asked how they had my info, they just ended the call. I've blocked the number and reported it. Definitely a scam.

The call came from a number that appeared to be German, but neither the person on the line nor anyone in the background was talking in German. When I replied to them in German, it was clear they didn’t get it. They said they were from some eLearning company, but when I mentioned I run a business that offers training, they just cut the call without even saying goodbye, which is pretty strange for a proper business call.

When i pressed the lady on which broker or firm she was representing, she just kept trying to get me to say yes so she could put me through to their main office in Birmingham. Then she offered to send me a link to their site, but i asked her to simply name the website. She said that was against their rules or something. Quite an amusing chat overall.
