Got a call from this number, some bloke sounded really pushy. Claimed he was from BT's tech support and wanted to tweak something on my computer. I asked him how I could verify his call was legit, and he said he'd give me a number to note down and ring back later to confirm. I hung up and contacted BT myself, and they told me they never made such a call. Just a heads up for anyone receiving calls like this!

Got a call from an Indian chap wanting me to switch on my computer and describe what was on the screen. I flipped it back on him, saying "Why dont you start by telling me what you see?" He chuckled and said something like "Weve got a sassy one here." I told him that if there was an internet issue, Id jot down his details and have my provider ring him up. That shut him up and he ended the call. Nowadays, the only annoying calls trickling in are from overseas numbers!

Got a call today telling me my internet had problems and to sit at my computer so they could help fix it. So I went over to my PC, opened YouTube and blasted Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” on full volume. They just dropped the call straight after. Gotta say, not the best taste in music!
