My wife got a call from some dodgy robot claiming she owed unpaid taxes and would be arrested soon. It was some bloke pretending to be from HMRC, telling her to send £700 straight away or cops would show up within the hour. Totally rubbish, so we blocked the number ASAP!

I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying there’s a fraud case against me and that they’ve issued an arrest warrant. Total scam, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from 0044800595000 on my mobile about 11.58, picked up but then the call just dropped off. No clue who was trying to reach me.

Just got a call from some automated voice claiming to be from HMRC saying theres a warrant out for me for insurance fraud. They warned if I hung up I'd get arrested soon. Needless to say I ended the call asap. The number that came up was +44 80059500.
