Got a call from this number earlier today. The person on the other line said it was Amazon and mentioned a charge of £79.99 on my subscription. I immediately told them I’d hang up and double-check because it sounded dodgy. The guy actually was quite chill about it, which made me more suspicious. Turns out, when I contacted Amazon directly, they confirmed it’s likely a phishing attempt. Don’t get caught out by it! I’ve already passed the details on to the right people.
