I received a call from a UK number where the person on the line asked for me by my first name, claiming it was about an 'account'. I was reluctant to divulge any personal details, so I queried why they needed my name in the first place. They kept insisting it was regarding this 'account', but I stood my ground and wouldn’t verify who I was. Eventually, they just hung up on me. I'm currently in Beijing and originally from Australia. Sounds like a scam to me - quite suspicious indeed!
