Reports on phone number 00441772940000
10 yearsEarlier today, we received a rather peculiar call from some individuals who were looking for the phone number of a mate of ours from secondary school. It's been around seven years since we've laid eyes on him! We're completely baffled as to why these folks would be reaching out to us for that particular number, and even more so about how they managed to get hold of our contact details. When we inquired, they claimed it was linked to our friend, which was quite clearly not the case. It's left us scratching our heads, trying to understand who these people really are!10 yearsJe suis à Bruxelles, en Belgique, et tu as essayé de me joindre. Un saluto!11 yearsWe've received a call from this number, but we sadly can't identify who it was.11 yearsI can confirm that this number belongs to Barclays Bank in the UK.Barclays BankUK11 yearsWe received a call from them too, but I didn't pick up. It’s probably some sort of scam, if you ask me.11 yearsWho gave me a bell? Cheers!11 yearsI just received a rather peculiar call from a fellow with a rather unusual accent-definitely not your run-of-the-mill number. He insisted on speaking to me directly. I told him I was out doing a bit of shopping and asked if he could leave a message, but he flatly refused, stating he could only converse with me. When I pressed him on who I should say was calling, he repeated that he could only speak to me. I quipped, “What if it’s me, then?” and he shot back, “Well, is it you?” I was baffled and asked how he would know, suggesting a security question. He chuckled and claimed he could only ask me. I challenged him to go ahead and ask his question so he could ascertain my identity. We went back and forth, me having a laugh at his expense until he finally bid me farewell. Just before hanging up, he ominously dropped something about 'nco Ulster Bank.' Now, I do owe my mortgage lender some cash, but I shan't be disclosing anything to some random stranger who somehow has my number. If this is genuinely linked to Ulster Bank, they ought to be thoroughly embarrassed-it's just too creepy! It's utterly baffling as we can't seem to return the call. A robotic voice, speaking in French, instructed us to dial a certain number which we’ve unfortunately forgotten. The voice mentioned something about a company with a name like MCO or NCO-or something of that nature. Quite the conundrum, really!FranceMCONCOSubmit Your Own Report (01772 940000)
