I've just received the same message regarding a Lesley Barnes. Our number was previously on the ex-directory list, so it surely must be some sort of scam.

I've received the very same ring on my phone twice now, and it’s not a first for me! Something feels off about the number’s prefix, so I opted not to return the call. I reckon Simon’s thoughts align perfectly with mine - wouldn't be at all shocked if it's a scam! Cheers for the heads-up, Simon!

This evening, our answering machine lit up with a call alert, claiming there was a pressing message from a Lesley Barnes at BTO. Following that, we received an automated message that stated, "I need to discuss an important issue that demands your urgent attention. Kindly return our call at 00441236575196, referring to the reference number 100215858." To be honest, I'm rather baffled as to who BTO is or why they're trying to get in touch with us.

I gave them a ring and it turns out they're a debt collection agency. They were after a certain Mr Walsh, who definitely isn't residing at this address. They've got the wrong location entirely! Thankfully, they were quite apologetic and assured me they’d remove us from their records.

It seems we've encountered a bit of a puzzling situation involving our 79-year-old mum. A chap who bought the house from her seven years back has now turned up again, presenting her with a ring that looks strikingly similar to one she already owns. It’s rather curious since he hasn’t been in touch since the sale. When we attempted to find out more, the folks we spoke to were rather unhelpful, although they did assure us that they would remove our mother’s details from their list. Quite the conundrum, isn’t it?

I received a rather curious voicemail after my massage session; it mentioned that these individuals were eager to converse with us urgently and insisted we call a particular number while referencing 100250242. Now, I'm baffled-what sort of phone number has 14 digits? It reeks of a scam, doesn't it?

I received the same call myself. Shortly after, I found out it was connected to a gentleman named Mr Loan residing on High Street. They seemed quite contrite and assured us that they would promptly remove our details from their system.

I've received the same call from Leslie Barnes on three occasions-it's quite pressing! I rang back and a pleasant chap who identified himself as a BPO representative answered. He was kind enough to provide our reference number, but surprise, surprise! It wasn't on their system. Since we preferred to keep our names under wraps, they weren't able to chatter any further. Apparently, Leslie Barnes had already clocked off for the day. Our number is unlisted, which makes this whole thing feel very much like an attempt at cold calling. Curious, isn’t it?

I received a call that was eerily similar, but with an entirely different reference number. Is it possible this is some sort of scam designed to pocket a percentage from the callers? It reminds me of those quiz shows where they rake in cash the moment people dial in!

I received a call today that showed as international on my Caller ID. It was a recorded message urging me to return the call and mention a reference number. Has anyone else encountered a similar call? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I’ve had a run-in with Lesley Barnes, number 00441236575196, reference 100282163. Let me tell you, it’s quite a dodgy setup! It seems like we’re all caught in the same web-those of us who dabble in competitions and muck about with online surveys, right? Honestly, it’s wise to keep your personal details to yourself. If you find yourself in a situation where they insist on prying for every little detail to proceed, just shut down the survey! It's another one of those marketing tactics from folk who clearly have no regard for our privacy. Quite outrageous, if you ask me!

We’ve just received a voicemail from this number, but I didn’t jot down the reference number since I thought it was probably a scam.

As soon as we stepped out, we received the very same call from Lesley Barnes at BPO. We chose not to return the call, suspecting it might be a scam. We reckon the person is using the number 07765 254299 since that popped up when we checked back via 1471. Mind you, it’s hard to say for certain as there’s a chance someone else could have rung in afterwards.

I've come across the very same ring, but it bears a different reference number.

Received a call from someone named Lesley Barnes who mentioned a reference number - 100261097. I tried calling back using the provided phone number, but it didn’t connect. Upon checking with my telecom provider, I was informed that the number was invalid. That’s all there is to it.
