I had a call where the person started with 'Salam Wale Kum'. If I just said 'Hello' they’d hang up straight away. But when I replied back with 'Wale Kum Salam', they tried to start giving me some kind of sermon or preaching. Quite odd really!

Like with most calls these days, I just let it ring through to voicemail. When I looked it up here, there were 47 reports about it - mainly about different scams. They didn’t bother leaving a message though, so I have no idea what kind of scam it might be. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now.

On the 17th of June 2016, I received a call from this number, but when I tried to ring back, I found that the number was non-existent. It has a Polish area code. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

I picked up the phone only to be greeted by a robotic voice that said "Goodbye" before the line went dead. Quite peculiar, isn’t it?
