5 yearsI answered the call but nobody replied when I said hello. After a moment, a recorded message kicked in, claiming it was an automated Amazon alert saying I’d purchased something for £1,300. Obviously that’s not true - I’d never spend that much without getting a confirmation call first, as I’ve got a deal with my credit card firm to contact me on big purchases. I’ve already sent the number to Amazon’s fraud team.
