Somebody called me saying they were from a skin care firm based in Switzerland, but the phone number definitely wasn’t from there. The connection was so bad I managed to end the call pretty fast. They seemed keen to ask about products, probably trying to pitch me something. They tried using my name but got it wrong, which made me realise it was a scam straight away.

Both me and my daughter got calls from this number, which was quite strange.

They said they were ringing from some skincare firm based in Switzerland, but the number was clearly Italian. They even knew my name. Asked loads of questions about my skincare routine before offering a "free" skincare item, which actually ends up costing about 20 euros if you want to keep it. They do say you can return it within 5 days if you’re not happy though. The caller was super pushy, and the line quality was rubbish. If you hang up, they’ll try ringing back. We were pretty blunt with them and they've only rung twice since, but who knows if they’ll keep trying.

I reckon this number might be one of those pesky spam calls. They keep ringing you, sometimes just hanging up right away and then ringing back. When you finally pick up, there's no one there, or they're trying to push some random stuff on you. Proper annoying, if you ask me.

I got a call from a bloke claiming to be from a company in Switzerland, he somehow knew my name and started asking loads about my skin care routine and what lotions or moisturisers I use. I was busy and couldn't really chat, but he just kept on going, so in the end I had to just hang up on him.

I received a rather unexpected phone call earlier today from someone claiming to be from Switzerland, conducting a survey on women's skincare. The whole conversation dragged on for about four minutes. What genuinely unsettled me was how she knew my name right off the bat; she greeted me with, "Am I speaking to…?" as soon as I picked up!
