I received a phone call earlier today, and when I expressed my disinterest, the caller informed me that it was within their rights to contact me. I requested to be removed from their contact list, but they insisted that it was not possible. Their assertion amused me, and 'Daniel' abruptly ended the call.

It seems likely that the call was made on behalf of an insurance company. I regret not recording the name, which would have helped ensure that I avoid their services in the future.

I'm fed up with getting these constant recorded calls about "outdated, inefficient" windows. I have sash/casement windows that are in tip-top shape and have no plans to change them. Mine are old (from 1911) but work perfectly and suit the style of the house really well. Besides, if I wanted to swap them (which I definitely don't), I can handle it on my own.
