On the 26th of March, 2016, I received two phone calls from a certain number. Being based in Athens, Greece, it was rather surprising to receive calls of this nature. A Greek-speaking woman on the other end claimed to be selling skincare products from Switzerland. However, when my wife expressed interest in trying out samples, she was informed that they were not available. This immediately raised suspicion and indicated that it could potentially be a scam. Typically, in such situations, scammers may request payment for "shipping fees" in advance or ask for credit card details for supposed "verification" purposes. Should one comply, they often proceed to bill from obscure locations such as Africa or Russia. Therefore, it is crucial to exercise caution and be wary of potential scams.

I received a call today inquiring if I was the person mentioned, stating both my first name and surname. Subsequently, a woman began to ask me questions about skincare, but I became suspicious as she overly emphasized their supposed "niceness". She claimed to represent a company based in Lugano, Switzerland that had a partnership with our service provider. However, after conducting some research, I discovered that no such company actually exists. Therefore, I politely expressed my disinterest in purchasing or obtaining further information from them. Although this lady tried to persist, I made it clear that I wasn't interested and ended the call. Hopefully, this won't result in any unexpected expenses.
