Ring, ring from Macedonia, is it? I've had a few calls from that number, but I've chosen not to pick up. They seem to have a knack for ringing me at the most inconvenient moments. It's beginning to feel like a right nuisance. I can't shake the feeling that it might be some sort of scam.

I've been getting calls from this number and similar ones like almost every other day (it's on Vodafone). Weird thing is, both my phones have started trying to ring this number by themselves, without me doing anything. Feels like some kind of malware has sneaked into Google or something.

Just like a few others here, I got a ring from this number yesterday, on Christmas Day. I wasn’t near my phone so didn’t pick up. Later, I noticed the missed call and the area code seemed unfamiliar, so I googled it. Turns out it’s from Macedonia, which instantly rang alarm bells for me as probably a scam. The worrying bit was that some news articles from 2016 popped up saying calls from Macedonia or Albania were known for scamming folks by charging over £300 on their phone bills, even if they didn’t answer! Definitely going to keep a close eye on my EE bill this month just in case.
