I got a call from 0037441973634, it only rang once then they hung up. I didn’t ring back, but the next day I got a really odd call from some bloke claiming he had a job offer for me. Turned out he was trying to get me to do voice work for adult movies. I cut the call off straight away. Watch out for this!

I got a quick call like many others mention. But today I also got a couple of calls from that same number plus some from Armenia (+37441973632) and Zambia (+260960526694). This all kicked off yesterday when I answered a call from 02075458155. It was a voicemail warning me that HMRC was taking legal action against me and to press 1 to avoid court. I ended the call straight away and contacted HMRC myself, who confirmed it was a scam and that the number had already been reported.

I’m with EE and received a few calls from abroad - twice from Armenia and once from Zambia. They only ring a couple of times before cutting off. From what I’ve found out, it’s best not to return these calls as it might end up costing you a fortune!
