I got a call from 01225 809616, which I answered since it looked like a local number, but there was nothing on the other end, just silence. Later, I saw another call from an international number, 0037283087478, which I ignored and let go to voicemail - it cut off after just a few seconds. Makes me wonder if the first call was some sort of trick to see who answers, and then the second number tried to use that info? Seems fishy to me.

I got a call from 01225 809616, which I answered since it was a local area code, but there was no one there, just silence. Then I noticed this number showing up as international, 0037283087478, ringing me shortly after. I didn’t answer the second one and it just went to my voicemail, which cut off after about 3 seconds. Makes me wonder if the first call was some kind of fake to see who’d pick up, so the second could come through or something like that?

I allowed that one to roll over to my answering machine, but it only lasted a mere 3 seconds before cutting off. It makes me wonder-was the initial call just a sneaky ploy to identify the numbers of folks who answered? And did the second call somehow benefit from that?
