Received a rather dubious call from someone insisting I had a cryptocurrency account registered in my name. Absurd, if you ask me! Quite clearly, it was an attempt to deceive me.

I got a message saying my card was blocked and told me to click a link. I didn’t click it though, figured it was probably a scam trying to steal my info.

Some bloke called me, used my name which kinda freaked me out, but I never caught what his name was. When I told him I had no idea what he was on about, he just hung up straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from some scammer saying I supposedly have bitcoin from 2015 and needed to send my passport and bank info to get it. Obviously, I didn’t give them anything. After I blocked the number, the same woman rang me again, first from an Irish number then from a Polish one! When I told her to leave me alone, she actually told me to f off. All those numbers are now blocked for good.

This lady called sayin I had some blockchain money or something. I asked her how much I supposedly had and she just said I had a lovely name. She somehow knew both my full name and my phone number! I told her to send me everything in writing, then I ended the call and blocked the number. Total scam!

I looked up the number and it turns out he's calling from a mobile in Ireland, with Vodafone as his provider. From what people say, it seems to be a bitcoin scam. He speaks with a pretty thick Indian accent, so if you get a call, best just to hang up straight away.

Got a couple of calls but didnt pick up, phone said it might be a scam. So I went ahead and blocked the number and reported it.

Got a call from someone pushing Bitcoin, telling me to take my cash out. Then they asked if I had internet access. Felt really dodgy to me.

It was definitely a scam. They told me I had some bitcoin and wanted my email to send more info. I gave them an address I hardly ever use, but there’s no way I’m clicking any links or opening anything they send. Best to stay away from them, seriously.

Somebody rang claiming there was a crypto account set up under my name. When I told her that wasn’t true, she got really angry and I ended the call. But before I could block the number, she called back and kept pestering me. Thankfully, I caught on to what was going on and hung up again, then managed to block her properly. I worry others might fall for this if they’re not careful.

Got a call on my phone from an Irish number, but the lady speaking had a really strong accent, sounded like she was from somewhere in Asia. There were some awkward pauses and lots of crackling on the line before we could get through. Then she started telling me my blockchain account was locked or something. Told her straight away I don’t own any blockchain accounts and ended the call. Pretty clear this was just some scam trying to get money out of me.
