6 yearsSomeone rang me saying they were from BT Technical Support, saying there was a major issue with my broadband. I told them straight away they had the wrong number as I don’t even have BT or internet at all. They started getting really rude, shouting “LIAR LIAR LIAR” over and over. I just hung up. After a quick google, I found out it’s a known scam trying to trick people into handing over personal info or money. I’m now jotting down any calls and numbers I get from dodgy callers. If you get a call like this, don’t share anything - your internet’s fine, it’s just a scam.BTTechnical DepartmentSubmit Your Own Report (083 1 494 8667)
