Its been really annoying, I keep gettin calls from this number and every day for the last week they've left me voicemails just saying loads of numbers. I don't pick up unknown callers and even tho I blocked them, they still manage to get their messages through. Pretty sure its a scam, so watch out!

Got a bloke called Daniel ringing from Ireland claiming he’s with PayPal and that I supposedly owe them some cash. He’s rang me about five times now, and I quickly realised he was a scammer because he got some basics about PayPal all wrong. I reckon he’ll call again to try and get that money he says I owe. Honestly, it’s pretty annoying for me, but I can see how this could be really harmful to someone else!

Got three calls from this number. First one said they were from PayPal, asking for my bank info. The second said they were from BT, told me my landline got hacked (I don’t even have a landline). The third call was again from “PayPal” but this time they started shouting and insulting me about my kid when I wouldn't give out my bank details. None of them ever used my real name, by the way.

this definitely isnt Paypal. Paypal never ring you up about your account. I got a call from this number saying it was Paypal wanting to talk about my payments, i just ended the call. Then i phoned Paypal myself using their official site and they said they never contacted me and wouldnt do that anyway. dont trust the comments here saying its Paypal - its clearly a scam trying to trick you.

This ain't PayPal. Just spoke to their customer service after getting two calls this morning from this number. They confirmed it’s not them and said they’re gonna report it to warn others. PayPal only gets in touch through texts, emails, or messages on your eBay account, never random calls. So if you didn’t ask for a callback first, don’t answer or engage with these unexpected calls!

Really dodgy. When I picked up, there was just silence on the other end. I’d already emailed Paypal about some weird stuff earlier that day. Maybe it was actually Paypal, but if so, why didn’t they say anything right away? Spent like 7 hours on the phone with Paypay yesterday but made no progress at all. This morning I finally got through, the woman was really friendly and helped me check the transactions which all matched mine. She connected me to the refund department dealing with the companies. I've called them 3 times now - the first two calls lasted about 55 minutes each, and the third one was nearly 45 minutes. Just sent them a message explaining everything that’s happened so far.

These calls are driving me mad. I'm Deaf and my phone just picks up with a fax machine, so maybe they should just send a letter instead of expecting me to 'switch on' my imaginary hearing aid (bit of sarcasm there). They keep ringing nonstop. I wish there was a way to stop companies from getting my number in the first place. Might have to ditch caller ID so I don’t keep stressing about missed calls too.

Ich hab bei Paypal angerufen, weil ich ein Problem hatte und um einen Rückruf gebeten. Man muss da erst die Telefonnummer bestätigen und seinen Namen auf eine Mailbox sprechen. Wenn die dann zurückrufen, hört man seine eigene Stimme und muss nochmal bestätigen, dass man wirklich die Person ist. Finde ich eigentlich ganz vertrauenswürdig und sicher, damit keine falschen Anrufe reinkommen.
