They claimed to be calling on behalf of "Windows" regarding an issue with my computer. Since I've had plenty of dodgy calls supposedly from "Microsoft" before, I instantly assumed it was another scam. I told them I'd already got rid of the computer, and then the line went dead. Now I'm left wondering if it might have been a genuine call after all, especially since I actually had a Windows problem just yesterday. Did I just mess up by saying I didn’t have the computer anymore when I actually do?!
